30 Rock/ Lighten up

By grizzleo

Sometimes I can be too serious. I spent a year fighting GE and I do not trust Walmart as far as I can throw them. Like McDonald’s it is one of those places I will not go. My mother-in-law, a college professor, was a part-time greeter at Walmart and she hated them, but I have taken their funding on Environmental things. See why I am conflicted on this issue.

I thought for sure Oregon would protect children and pass their version of a Children’s Health Care Bill. Ciggarette lobies defeated the people of Oregon. It was sad and left me seeing sideways for a day, but I have to admit I watched Gore and Scwimmer on last nights 30 Rock on Global Warming and other things and I am glad I did. It was some funny TV, and I am glad I watched it and got to laugh at the “me’s of the world. Although I feel like a hybrid (no pun intended ) between the lead character, the brunette woman with glasses and the “Greeno” character played by David Schwimmer. Of course Gore was very funny and Baldwin surprised me with his comic depth. I have not been a fan of Baldwin’s these day’s.

Then I kept the TV on to watch the Office. I will admit I watched the British version of the same show on DVD and laughed, but the USA version was extremely funny last night and the topic to me was very relivent to me, and the way it was written it showed some real wit. Steve’s (?) sidekick, the guy who takes himself more serious than his boss does, the guy who stayed out in the woods with Steve(?) was very funny.

I did not stay up for ER, although I was tempted. I used to like that show a long time ago.

Gore, Baldwin, Scwimmer, and the Office were very funny.

I do not know if NBC will make those shows available but they are very funny if you can get past the GE’s and Walmarts of the world. The only thing I can think of when I see those corporations going green is that somewhere in going green there must be some big money. If there was time, and we did not need the GE’s of the world in this fight, I would say “follow the money” The Lomborgs of the world are sceptical of the wrong things… thats for sure!!!!!!!!!
