A big storm is coming to DC –  up to 24 inches!  People are stocking up on canned goods, and the stores are completely sold out of shovels.  I am excited that later today I will be working from home.

The report from the National Wildlife Federation explains how climate change is making our winters generally more temparate but some places like DC are experiencing more large storms.  Read about how this can threaten ecosystems and alter the natural rhythms of water and temperature.   And try to stay warm and dry as the snow starts to fall.
