More On Wildlife and the Disasterous Gulf Coast Oil Spill

I have seen photographs of oil soaked Brown Pelicans (many), Magnificent Frigate birds, Laughing Gulls, Least and Gull-billed Terns. Now the highly endangered Kemps Ridley Sea Turtle leads a growing number of oil soaked sea turtles suspected to be oil soaking mortalities and close calls. Sharks, like the Bull Shark or Nurse Shark and fish like the Bluefin Tuna have potential to be hugely impacted by the Gulf Oil Spill; but their being underwater makes these impacts hard to photograph. Crab species will be impacted by this oil spill. Many small or micro organizms will be impacted by this oil spill. These impacts may have huge impacts on the biodiversity and ecology and the economy of the gulf.
