Marsh Birds

I have seen a lot of terns, gulls and pelicans, on T.V. oil slimed, by the disaster in the gulf. Oil is now in the marshes of the gulf and you may see a different suite of birds impacted by the oil back there. I am not sure that the T.V. people will get back there because of insects, remoteness and heat. You might see some specials on this malady.

In the marsh we may (or may not) see Clapper Rails, Heron and egret species, Ospreys and species like the Purple Galinule, Fulvous Whistling Duck impacted by oil, and so on.

I will not be on the computer for at least 2 days, but the Gulf Coast Oil Disaster may still be with us.
