Birds Migrating Through

Red-wing Blackbirds are gone out back. This morning I saw Common Yellowthroats, they seemed to be moving. Osprey (2) moved along the Gallatin River. Bald eagles were moving also…I saw them both. There are some birds, like certain raptors that are right in the middle of migration…I have seen Mississippi and Broad-winged Hawks go in large numbers in September. I view October as a songbird migration month.
