A Rare Life Bird In South Texas.

While on birds I can say that a reintroduced bird that we saw at Laguna Atiscosa National Wildlife Refuge was the Alpomado Falcon.

The birds looked like specs. It is hard to fool 4 good birdwatchers and there were four of us, and right away we suspected they were Alpomados from where they were and how they sat and behaved in there roost.

We saw many neat life birds on that trip but I amsure the Alpomado was on top of our list; it was mine.
