Dunne’s Article and Rosy Finches For You To Come See

In the latest issue of WildBird magazine is an article entitled, My 25 Birding Hotspots, by birding noteriety Peter Dunne.

I do not agree with Dunne about going to Hawk Mountain, Pennsalvania you could go there for tradition but there are better places to watch hawks. I can say that in North America alone; for starters Hazel Basemore, out of Corpus Christie, Texas is phenominal and out of North America I would visit the River of Raptors near Vera Cruz, Mexico…a great site for hawk watching.

This article really stands out…so do read it.

On a website about birding in Montana there was a post yesterday about bird feeders near the town of Bozeman being mugged by Gray-crowned Rosy Fiches and inviting birders to view the finches at the feeders….one of the things I love about this state.
